Printers and inkjet cartridges, laser toner cartridges, drum units, labeling machine consumables, specialty papers etc for laser printers, inkjet printers, fax machines, and other office equipment. Most of our products are shipped from warehouses in Auckland.

In designing our first ecommerce website in 2003 our goal was to make printer cartridge ordering quick and easy for busy people, and that continues to drive us today. We want you to have maximum control over your buying experience. We want you to shop with confidence, knowing you'll receive exactly what you're promised.

Where we came from...

Easyink Printer Cartridges Ltd, formally Encore Imaging Technologies Ltd, is a business established in 1990 and trading initially as `Ribbon Renew` next to the Lychway Chapel on Princess Street, Palmerston North.

Those were the days when most printers used dot-matrix ribbons and we were kept busy loading new inked ribbon into the discarded cassettes for corporate and home users alike. HP Deskjet mono ink-jet printers cost NZ$1500 back then, and consumables were more expensive than they are today. Customers brought their black ink cartridges in to be refilled while they waited, and many asked us to fill their mono cartridges with coloured ink!

An important part of our business was the remanufacture of laser printer cartridges, supplying a number of Massey University departments, the local Regional Council, and other public and corporate entities. This was done in-house until the late 1990s when out-sourcing became more cost-effective. Our experience in the industry enables us to keep a close watch on quality and help our customers with printer issues.

In 2003 work began on our first e-commerce website when we found that procurement costs for some corporate clients could exceed the purchase price of a printer cartridge! Our Massey University users could no longer use their order books and were issued with credit cards so the pressure was on...

After switching to online ordering our customers report substantial savings because credit card real-time purchasing facilities means personnel only have to think about the transaction once. A buyer can see the product and the price on the screen, place the order, pay for it, and print out the invoice - all within a few seconds! Money is transferred from your account to ours via secure encryption virtually instantaneously.

(Having said that, some customers prefer to pay by internet banking and some schools and corporates prefer 20th month credit accounts. The checkout can accommodate those preferences.)
